Land of Art Phase 14: Challenge 1+3+5

This year I will do things a little differently for my landofart posts. Last time I played, I aimed to include information about all the fonts and sources I had used. I ended up spending more time composing my artposts than making the actual designs, which kind of defeated the purpose of being creative for fun instead of homework

Well, I do love Butch & Kid so it would be hard to say I don't like art made of them :). I love it how I couldn't immediately tell what the light blue-ish background was - and it was just another image of them :). Simply amazing!

I saw you posting that second promotional banner earlier and I have no idea what show/movie that is, but I like the retro coloring of it, all the fonts and their placements. Wonderful!

Question about the word ART in the pink banner (the first one). Is it a font or did you draw that free-hand?

Mermaid banner has great composition and the charming wavy text right across it.

Merida sigtag has such clear and cool colors.

Those are my favourites from this batch. Great job with all of them, though.

Heehee, I have a large collection of images from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, so they will probably pop up more this Phase;) The image in the background is so awesomely chaotic and I thought it fit the Action theme perfectly.

The second promo features a scene from movie The Losers with Idris Elba and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (also someone who will show up in my artwork a lot;) It was the first one I made and I love how the composition turned out even better than what I had in mind.

ART is set in font Vtks Study by Douglas Vitkauskas
I also used it for the most recent papercut storyheader I made, but there I edited the letters a bit: Weechester Superheroes

I went to dafont.com immediately and Vitkauskas has several fonts there so I'm sure I'll get some of them, font-crazy as I am :).
