A Mini High Tea in Groningen

There were so many different types of tiles and buildings. I really want to go back for another stroll with my camera.

Yes, I posted it on Twitter as soon as I got home:) Gosh, I'm drooling all over again just looking at them, they were all so very delicious.

The photo is really about the manhole* cover; they usually have the name of the city on them, so I try and take photos of standing on them all over the world! This was a real beauty because it includes the landmark Martini tower:)

*oh shush, that is what they are called, English is weird. Anyway, another great example are the ones I saw in Copenhagen;)

I love these photos. What a mix of architecture; old and new.

Thank you:) Groningen is indeed a city that has it all; that museum is all sorts of modern and then the center of town has all these old buildings, definitely worth a revisit.
