Keeping up with LJ is a bit tough at the moment, but y'all rock for posting! *rolls around in flist* I'm still juggling too many things this week, so I expect I won't be able to catch up properly until the weekend, but I didn't want to postpone this meme that long, so here's quick post:)

Is it the version where Judith beheads Holofernes that is apocryphal then? The version of the story I'd heard was she killed him by hammering a tent peg into his head. Whichever, she was badass!

I tried Black Books long ago, because of Tamsin Greig, but the main character got on my nerves with all the smoking :-p Upon your recommendation I will try it again; I found the series is officially up on YouTube! (First two seasons are complete, third season is being uploaded this month)
The whole book of Judith is apocryphal, except for Catholics I think. Oooh, never heard about the version with the tent peg. Wicked!

Ah yes, I think Dylan Moran grows on you - he is not a sympathetic character but that's partly why it's so funny. He and Manny are so ill suited.

Although David Tennant is also pretty fantastic. I got to meet him last year at Awesome Con and he was every bit as lovely as I could have hoped. :)

Gosh, Buzzcocks was a lot of fun. I was a big fan of Mark Lamarr, so I was a little apprehensive when Simon took over after a series with guesthosts, but I loved him right away. *reminds self to track down that autobiographic sitcom he wrote and starred in*
