Oh no! And here I am procrastinating doing Day 2 (but I already did some ab work and weights and I'm sitting here in my work-out clothes making deals with myself -- two more minutes of fandom, then work-out...)

I hope it gets better soon! Drink lots of water!

Hey, sounds like you already did good, but you can do better, warrior! I know how hard it is to get back up once you're taking a break, BUT YOU CAN DO IT! If you haven't started on day 2 yet, go on, do it now, I'm here cheering you on! \o/

(I have to take it easy, but will do full on supporting;)

Eeek! *sends tons of healing vibes* Been there, done that, had this a few years ago and it SUCKS. Yes, please rest and take it easy. It's pretty much the only thing you can do. :(

I actually wanted to choose Option B but I was honestly not able to do the squats so I had to go with Option A. Yesterday's squats killed my thighs. There's nothing I hate more than squats. Except burpies. And planks. LOL! I was doing fine with the other exercises but the squats? *whimpers* So I'm in pain today - I did take a nice long stroll this morning and that seems to work, but stairs are a problem.

So when I looked at the Options today, I figured I might be able to somehow do the knee highs...and if there hadn't been the squats after the jabs, I would've tried Option B.

I also LOLed at the "rest for 2 minutes between sets"...until after the first set and I was wheezing. *headdesk* The damn half jacks weren't fun on my thighs either.

And then I looked at the karma sheet after the work-out and saw that I basically get punished on Day 7 for not ( ... )

*treasures healing vibes* Sitting down just feels so useless, you know? I wish I could do stretches at least, but I understand those only make it worse the first few days, so rest it is *sighs*

My boobs are not a fan of knee highs, but I loved the boxing combo, so I figured I'd give B a go, I even put on a bra, hrmpf. Should have listened to my boobs, right?

I just checked the karma page and it made me giggle, heh, I needed that. Will see what I'm capable of doing on Day 7.

I haven't peeked ahead either. Will do the raised arm circles tonight to make up for what I missed, but sure can't do anything that involves moving my right leg at this time. (I may check the Movie-Night or an other Sofa work-out to see if I can maybe do something with my left leg while I watch TV this evening:)

I do want to keep up with the Hero's Journey, it's so much more fun to do work-outs with a group (while still enjoying the privacy of your home;). *smishes*

Do NOT get me started on the boobs issue! Damn things are always in the way and bounce even with a bra. *grumbles*

I can totally give a thumbs up to the sofa challenges. I did them last month and they're pretty easy (relatively speaking).

*hugs* I just had something very similar happen with my Achilles tendon, which is also 2-6 weeks of rest. (And also more common for "masters" athletes and those trying to increase their workout intensity.) And I'm supposed to be running a half marathon in 9 weeks!

We'll rest together.

Oh dear, woe is us! Restbuddies! *hugs* I hope you recover in time for your marathon. I have a trip to the UK planned this Thursday, traveling will be a challenge. I hope crutches will help with mobility. I don't want to make things worse, but I wish there was a more involved cure than rest.

Djeez, look who's WAY behind on replying to comments. Now you already know I've started a calf rehabilitation program, so at least I can work on feeling better instead of just do nothing but wait for my muscle to heal. Thanks for the hugs!

OH NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

*tries to think of all the arms-only exercises you could do*

Does it hurt still? I hope you find your crutches and are ok to get to work!

Late reply is late, so you're already up to date through other media I think. There has been much improvement in the past two weeks, but sadly I'm still not completely painfree:( I trust that will get better in the next stage of healing.
I'm glad I can still join the Hero's Journey, even if I have to adjust some exercises: I TOTALLY DID DAY 16 AS ORDERED, WOOHOO!
