May 16, 2014 20:45

Finally, I can show you what is officially my first fanart of 2014! For this year's SPN_Cinema I chose a film that on reviewing turned out to be even more crude than I remembered *grins* But not only does the story fit the script I imagined for my favorite SPN guys, more importantly it has an incredible and very inspirational setdesign. I hereby pay tribute ( Read more... )

Yup, you've outdone yourself -- again!! These guys look so time-intensive -- how long did they take to create and assemble?

. . . Why yes, I WOULD care to see the video you shot of Jared and Jeff, yes I would!

And yet I was more worried than ever that it was too silly to work;)

I spent a lot of time photoshopping, mostly fiddling with details nobody probably noticed (but I had such fun making the badges and Jared's bling belt:) and to make the bodies look as 'real' as possible even though they are not one single photo. Jensen's body was easiest, because besides changing his head, I only had to reconstruct one hand for him to have a good puppetpose.
Jared has the annoying habit of keeping his hands in his pockets, whereas there are not a lot of full body photos of Jeff available, so the two of them were build out of many different images. Dressing Jensen and Jared in their Team Texas clothes didn't take that long in comparison (if you don't count the aforementioned details;)

It took two days to create the set and backdrop photos. As for the paper cutting, you can figure that out for yourself with the worksheets *grins*

Also: the Jeff/Jared video is now available here!

*grins* Thank you. The idea for the bobblehead came to me accidently while I was putting their bodies together and was struggling with proportions; I'm so happy with how that worked out:)

oh my gosh, I love these. So cute and fun! I wish I had ink for my printer! It'd be great to have these guys hanging around my desk (lol literally) for inspiration whilst writing! You are amazingly creative (and I am even more excited to see what you have planned for my big bang -- I was super lucky to be chosen by you)!

Thank you! If you ever manage to refill your printer and decide to play with the guys, let me know;) Well, I already told you about one element that is similar to this artwork, I only hope I live up to your expectations now. :-p
