Dear artists in fandom-challenges: I do check out all creations, but if you post your art only on Tumblr, I can't comment on its awesomeness.
This, so very, very much. Tumblr is far from communication-friendly, and if you've got anything intelligent to say that goes beyond clicking a button, you're outta luck. I'll also go over there to look, but (IDK, maybe that's all the Tumblr "generation" expects is a "note" or "like" or whatver-the-hell it is?)
they thought the block may have been caused by a machine that used the magnetic strip instead of the chip.
*boggles* But that makes no sense. In North America, at least, chip vs. strip usage is about 60/40, with most places still using the strip. So if you use the chip at, say, Starbucks, and the strip at the store next door, you risk being disabled? That's either VERY poor design, or the customer service person was just casting about for an explanation.
I treated myself to a jar of peanutbutter and was finally able to buy a 2014 calender.
For me babbling about artwork is part of participating in a challenge, so simply clicking on kudos or hearts is just not my thing. I'm also probably using Tumblr wrong (don't even get me started on how people there use tags); I 'like' posts when I want to save them. My like-collection is there to make me happy, not to poke every single thing that is nice to look at.
Yeah, that strip comment weirded me out too; outside of the Netherlands I've always encountered cash registers that still use stripping instead of just sticking the card in the machine.
Peanutbutter is dangerous to have in the house (I am always tempted to just eat it out of the jar until it's empty) but I currently have a loaf of -white- cornbread and it just tastes so good on that:) Oooh, it's lunchtime. *runs to kitchen*
It's always awesome to go on vacation but coming home is always nice, too. Unless you have a ton of crap to go through. I read your post from yesterday and today, and jeez woman, you certainly get the most interesting things happen to you.
And may I just say... yay!!! to you signing up for more challenges. Always love seeing work from you. I signed up for the bigbang challenge as well *crosses fingers that I'll actually get my fic done this year*
And I owe you a J3 fic where JDM is thankful, don't I? ;P I haven't forgotten. I've got thoughts on it, just need to start writing it. If you want some input into it, please don't be shy and let me know what you would like to see. :D
Traveling is exhausting, but also an escape from real life for a while. Last week has been ridiculous, pfff. I hope life settles a bit more the next few days.
YOU WILL TOTALLY FINISH YOUR BB-FIC AND IT WILL BE AWESOME! *waves pompoms*
Ahw, you don't 'owe' me anything, but JDM is always welcome of course. It would be an extra bonus if you could get him to do some nape-kissing (either one of the Js, although I personally think Jensen's neck has easier access) *grins*
