Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time

Jan 23, 2008 10:51

This morning started with a hormonal hotflash, I had an attack of nausea on the bus and arrived at work with another hotflash, while some fucker had turned on the heater in my office. I expect there is a lot more fun on its way. (Hey, hello headache and cramps ( Read more... )

if you ever get hold of (or see it somewhere posted) the uncut version - give me a wink... I WANT!
I'll look for it myself, but just in case I don't find and you do....

Ahw, that's right, you don't have access to BBC2. Bummer! I'll let you know if I have anything to share;) I only want the original episodes. I heard they also cut them for BBC America, to fit in between commercials -apparently- *rolls eyes*.

never mind... I just disconnected my brain there for a moment! I have it already! :-) I don't know what happened, in my head.... really don't so if I try to explain all the stupid thoughts that led me to believe I didn't already have it, you will think I'm crazy and de-friend me!

Nope, no BBC2. I actually don't know what to do to get that here in Norway. I think my cable company is one of those who offers the most Channels, and they have (on their largest pack):

These are the TV channels I can get with my cable company:

This is the package I have:

But no BBC2! :-(

Hey, I knew you watched the first episode, I thought you were talking about the new eppie;)

Wow, that's a lot of channels. I only have 32, but that's standard, no extra package. And BBC 1 and 2 are not shown in widescreen, so I miss the sides of the image. For series that's not a problem, since they still shoot those mostly in the center, but films are impossible to watch. I remember trying to watch Stage Beauty and looking at an empty stage with both actors outside my view!

Channels:
Dutch: Nederland 1, 2 + 3;
Germany: ZDF, NDR, WDR;
UK: BBC 1, 2;
Belgium: Eén, Canvas;
France: TV5;
Commercial stations:
RTL4,5,7,8 Net 5, SBS6, Veronica (all Dutch);
Eurosport;
National Geographic, Animal Planet - Discovery;
MTV + TMF (music)
Comedy Central+Nickelodeon+CartoonNetwork;
CNN, BBC world, Preview channel;
Local: Town + Regional;
TellSell.

Wooo, that is a rather fantastic musicvid (even if I can never ever get that Shaun of the Dead scene out of my head, heh).

Torchwood in one hour! *counts down and hopes for Teh Date because is a rather gooey shipper that way :P* I am avoiding the kiddie-edition, but emily_sheppard informs me that the only thing they cut, was the Jack/Ianto kiss in the teaser. HOW IS THAT FAIR?

Biased shippers :P.

Ahw, you're using your BbM-icon. I'm so gonna buy that director's box for this weekend.

Heh. I remember. I always thought this would've been an awesome Eurovision song. Imagine the silly dances you could do with handmoves and everything: "Don't. Stop me noooooow" :-D Maybe that's just me. *hides*

I already told you to not EVER tell me about teasers again. I take it you now understand why:-p
Do you think they already went on the date? They seemed awfully relaxed around each other...

well, we have a larger package.
This is the standard: http://www.get.no/web/produkt/digitalTV/start
That's 33 channels, so that's about the same.

We decided on the family package because it contains PlayHouse Disney. And really, Amaya need her Little Einsteins, right?

Playhouse Disney is programs for kids 2 - 5 years old. The other Children channels are sending too much violent stuff for my liking, so I wanted a friendly child channel. I am just angry that they can't keep that in the standard package, but have us pay 99 NOK (12 EUR)extra pr month for it.

I have a BbM viewing session planned for tonight. Fuck, I don't even want to think about how messed up I'll be afterwards.

Um. It's not just you. At the London conventions, it's one of the crowdpleasers, they play it roughly every night. And yeah, there might be insane dance moves going on *blushes*. I'm pretty sure I've bowled people over at some point.

Meeeep. Damn, I know, I was so sure you'd seen this one though. Never again, promise! *grovels*
The awkwardness of the first episode was definitely over *g*. I'm still hoping we'll get to see the date though!

Oh hon, nothing like a double dose of Torchwood to forget all about the troubles;) (I should say triple dose, because of course I had to watch the kiddie-edition as well. For research-purposes. Obviously;)

(I understand BBC America will start the new season this Saturday, I urge you to watch it if you can. It's fanboy-heaven)

*giggles* I really should go out and rent the first season before I watch the second season, which I'm sure is awesome.

That's funny. How did the research go?

YES YOU SHOULD! If you're not an experienced Torchwood viewer, it might be too dangerous to start with Season 2, so you better prepare yourself for that, it's so friggin' hot (and cool:)

Research was... interesting. I will post a report on the missing scenes tomorrow.
