It's amazing what creating a nurturing and orderly space can do for a person. I spent the last couple of afternoons/evenings frantically nailing, hammering and screwing (furniture people! get your minds out of the gutter!) and have discovered that I *love* having an office space that's all my own. Yay! I think having a "room of one's own" is good in so many ways - I totally get your newfound feeling of expansion and freeing up of energy and I'm really happy to hear of it! Can't wait to see your new space next time I visit :)

Awesome ! I was wondering why you had given up that space as *yours*.
Glad you reclaimed it !

Being that you and I are very much alike I'm not surprised at all that space (in terms of living space) echoes space in other ways for you. I'm very much like that too !
J and I share the study but I very much feel like my desk and craft table are mine. It's really nice and important to have...

Room in houses are sometimes like that for me too. They don't seem to work or I can't seem to find the way to hang out in them and then one day... poof, I find the change that was needed and suddenly that space opens up !
