Well, after last night at INRUSH I am in total awe of our Lord. Jesus is so amazing and I can not believe that He did in one night what so many people have tried to do in an entire lifetime: He brought the black church together with the white church. I am so determined to get through college and seminary school so I can hopefully touch somebody ( Read more... )

Amen Jon. Couldn't be said better. We're all here for a reason and we're here to fulfill his purpose no matter how big or small. I really pray that u can reach the level as a pastor that u want to. We all know you can do it, just work hard and stay strong. God will provide the strenght. I bet the hebrew bible is very hard. You'll have to read a bit to us sometime. I thought it was amazing how the Jewish children are called upon to memorize so much scripture. Why cant we do that? Wouldnt it be awsome if we could all just speak like the first pastor did and just talk using scripture to people. i guess its something to think about. see ya later

Well, as we all know, nobody other than Jesus is perfect. We all try as hard as we can to do what we feel is right. Like the Apostle Paul says in Romans 7:24-25, "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the singul nature of a slave to law of sin." This basically is saying that Paul falls all of the time to the temptations of Satan. If Paul falls, who I consider to be the greatest Christian of all time, how much more do I fall? Anyway, not to be mean, but when I read that you want to be like me I was a little disapointed. The only goal any Christian should have is to be as much like Christ as they can. If you ever have any questions about God or anything relating to Him, ask me and I will do my best to try and answer them for you.
All my love, Jon
