So for the past two weeks, I've been doing the, "Well, I really should tell them I'm not done yet...OR I could finish the chapter tomorrow and then give them good news! Oh, yay! That one!" song-and-dance.

But do you see the cycle building here? I have to stop enabling my guilt and unfounded-optimism. It's not healthy. And rude.

It is (quite literally) the least I can do. I hope the chapter will eventually make up for it. I think (hope) it will.

bee don't feel bad! Really you have been keeping us so well informed of that if anyone gives you any crap at all I (and I'm sure there will be a lot of other people along with me) will hunt them down!

although i would never say no to a snippet or something else. :) you really don't need to grovel thou

Thanks, Katie! I realised we'd officially made it halfway through April and I'd been entirely mum so I had to post something, even if it wasn't the revered 'Off to the betas!' post. Hopefully that one will come soon.

Ahh, what's a snippet without a little bit of side grovel? Now I just have to scour about the chapter, trying to find something to post that won't spoil anything major...hmmm...

i wouldn't say no to a snippet (coughjamesseeinglily'sdateoutiftcough)....but if you're going to be finished sometime within the next few weeks, i'd rather wait to read the whole thing. my spring break starts tomorrow so it'd be a wonderful april present! =)

Ha! I actually just looked up that bit up and I might be able to swing it. Though, actually, it needs a bit of editing. (Though if that's how I'm going to work this, EVERYTHING needs a bit of editing, so perhaps that's not the best standard.)

Ohh, spring break. I long for spring break. I actually am having a lovely, rustic upstate adventure for Easter (what is my family? Who does that?), but it's still not much of a spring break. Sighs. Enjoy it!
