I have no experience w/ it, but I know that there are TWO piano teachers in my neighborhood who start at age 4. I think I have the papers filed away somewhere, but I can always ask the e-mail list for suggestions. I am planning to do piano for Nate, too (although we don't have one!), but not until he's a bit older - 8ish. Why 8? I dunno. I asked my mom's best friend, who put all 4 of her kids through piano lessons and she told me 8.

Also, Old Town starts music (violin, I think) at 4.
