So, I'm not sure if I'm going to go to Otakon this summer. It sucks, the one other event I might want to attend during the summer is the same weekend, and I have to chose between them. Right now I figure only Brandi, Andrew, and Ali might potentially have been able to go - everyone else is long ago and far away. Without a big group of people I don'

I forgot it even existed, I kid you not. During my numerous considerations of summer plans and potential dates for things I never once even thought about Otakon. So yea... I'm not going.
I think that, for me, this summer is pretty much:
1. Moving
2. NJ family and doctor stuff with a possible Atlantic City
3. Water park or some sort of something or another with you/Michelle/Dan(?)
4. CA
5. Back to school (I had a terrible dream last night where they were pissed at me and assigned me all low level Algebra 1 classes and I threatened to quit)

Ooh, if that dream comes true, maybe you can get a job at Torrance High School and come hang out with me on weekends, like you completely and totally said you were going to do I swear! ;)

But... but Torrance High School is famous! It was featured in Beverly Hills 90210 *and* Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as a ton of movies! And just think - you could TEACH MATH there!! (:

I'm not totally out for Otakon, actually! I was still KIND OF CONSIDERING flying back for it, and visiting my family a bit while I was there. Probably won't happen, but it's not outside the realm of possibility!

I think Larry was still potentially interested, too. And maybe even Julia and Matt. I know they've been considering it.

I say instead of Otakon, though, you all fly to CA and visit me. I've got a Mitsuwa down the road, and lots of great Japanese restaurants nearby... that's just as good as Otakon, right? ;)

I talked to Julia and she said they they won't be able to make it. They just don't have the money for it right now.

And while I would love to come visit you Tom; I just don't have the money right now.
