i was scrolling up my friend page and saw the pic before i saw the title, and thought "that bunny looks like totoro!" haha. very nice.

Since you're doing Ghibli-themed designs anyway, why not go for the full set and do the Catbus as well?

The Ghibli museum has a plush life-sized Catbus in one room. Unfortunately you're not allowed in if you're older than 12, so we didn't get to play around in/on/with it. :|
