Oh, and if you want a laugh while wasting time I would recommend watching Qi. It's a quiz show hosted by Stephen Fry where the questions are often very obscure and the panel gets points awarded for creative answers and deductions if they choose the obvious joke. Stephen Fry is brilliant obviously and it's fun to watch him get pissy when someone knows more than him.

I depend on my own hands to draw them too, though I try to avoid them whenever possible. The last person I drew I had his hands hide behind strips of the sheets around his waist to avoid drawing them, though it's...not quite not-awkward. >.>
