I've been working on a few ACTUAL projects this morning and was thinking about skipping out on the whole 'morning warm up' thing, but I decided to do something for it anyway. I really want to stick with this! I can already see myself getting better, and the support you guys have shown me has just been the best. Seriously, thanks guys. <3

At first I thought that was Yosuke, and that was extra-sad! I like the sepia-and-blood look a lot (though you knew that already).

I developed that from your suggestion!! I would never have stumbled across that if it hadn't been for This Thing Of Ours (oh, that story~~~).

And yes, Renton actually looks DISTURBINGLY like a younger Yosuke before he started bleaching his hair. More so in the source material than how I draw him. It makes some of the more graphic scenes all the more unsettling. ;-;

Renton ;A; You're so cute. I was so... idk aghast is a bit of a strong word, but very "DDDD':" at that whole moment. (Mostly because I dislike watching people getting beat up with fists? and because that animation studio is GOD, it just made it all more detailed xD;)

LOL AND THE MUSIC FOR IT IS AWESOME. I'm just sad because I think the disc I had saved it on is corrupted... or Vista really is out to kill me but I might try again. Yeah, that scene (what am I saying? Those scenes) is just...highly uncomfortable. :/ Their tendency to not play music during the beatings so all you hear is Renton's head slamming into a metal pole or him bursting into tears while Holland holds him down just kind makes it all that much more...*shudder

BAWWWW LITTLE REN ;-; He is just the saddest little muffin. And I love that Hap and the others are all :/ at Holland for beating up on the wee bb. It'd be sadder (and not as fun to watch) if everyone in Gekkostate was just like "LOL w/e Leader <33"

I'm still mad about that scene but it's a very good kind of mad, I guess? The mad that comes with knowing you've been intentionally affected by the story. Without any validation or acknowledgment by the other characters, I would've probably just been mad.
