INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cup basmati rice
4 1/2 cups water
50 g peanuts
1/2 lemon
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
3/4 tsp turmeric
3 curry leaves - or some parsley
2 chili
2 cms ginger
2 tsp salt
oil
METHOD
1. Boil the rice in the water till tender - the water will evaporate and fully get absorbed.
2. In a non stick pan heat the oil and crack the mustard seeds.
3. Add the rest of the spices the chili the curry, leaves, the grated ginger, the peanuts and the salt.
4. Add the rice and mix well till all of it has the same color.
5. Remove from the flame and put the lemon juice on top and mix.
