Dry Skin and Being an Adult

This house is exceedingly dry. I don't know what it is, because I am just a little over 9 miles from the beach now and the air should be more humidified (I was about 15 miles from the ocean before) or something...but it's not. We put a humidifier on the furnace itself, because it gets exceedingly dry in the house in the winter time. In the summer time, we don't need the humidifier, since the AC unit effectively humidifies the air, so we turn it off.

Not sure why your house would be dry though. I'm doubtful you're actually running the furnace to heat things up.
