The older I get, it seems, the less of a personality I feel that I am able to have. Perhaps it is the gradual wearing down of all that fervor and spunk everybody is born with. Some people get theirs beaten out of them, or worn down, at least, to a trickle. Other people cultivate theirs and those around them have happily assisted

If you're saying that you have no personality, then nooo...You have tons and tons! :) If you're saying you should not let people abuse your talents/feelings/value, then yes, that's a good thing to keep in mind. :)
