Thankful Thursday

1. I'm thankful the latest heat wave decided to only hang around a couple of days. The house is cool enough to work and think again.

2. I'm thankful my son is having a good time at his cousin's--going to the Exploratorium, riding some concrete slide thingy, and doing the Alcatraz tour this weekend. It means I can have long hours of productivity AND

It's incredible, isn't it? I was having this feeling like these things were so far in the past, and I know I don't have much for original sources, but still, this was pretty amazing.

It is a sweet week. And, yes, phone calls can be hard. In a way, though, I do get a better sense of who's "out there" than I do on email!

Sounds as though everything is coming together nicely for you. Yay! Enjoy the cool days of summer. We had about two weeks of deliciously sunny weather with low humidity - so unLongIslandian. But the humidity and chance of showers is back! Blah!

I was just at the concrete slide (children's park in Golden Gate Park) with C and friends last week. :) I did not dare go down it!
