Legend of Korra meme

Jun 26, 2012 01:20

Well, I've watched all of season one, and now I want to scribble some Korra fic. Three requests per person. I promise to write at least one, even if it may take forever and a day.

Warning: there are almost certainly going to be spoilers in the comments.

writing, series: legend of korra

I like. The sense of intimidation/gah, how does she work with these celebrities? feel works here, and Zuko tweaking him. *grins*

I like to imagine Korra snuggle-bunnies Zuko. Platonicly, of course. #randomly

Korra/Asami. Being utter badasses without help from the boys.
General Iroh. Being trained with his grandfather's swords.
Tarrlok&Noatak (or Tarrlok/Noatak). There's a hole in my heart where love used to reside.

Tarrlok and Noatok: What was going through both their minds right before the boat exploded.

General Iroh/Asami: She's already been burned once. Why risk it again?

Tenzin and family: Dinner with Bumi. That is all.

"The two of us together again! There's nothing we can't do!"

Except there was one thing his brother could do now that Tarrlok couldn't.

Water spray filled the air, settled on Tarrlok's cheeks almost like tears. But he knew they weren't. He'd lost his ability to weep the night he figured out who the man behind the mask was. The night he realized his own brother had removed his 'bending ( ... )

Amon piloted the boat, exhilaration pounding through his body. He'd lost the city, but he'd take the Avatar's 'bending - most of it. He'd lost his followers, but he'd gained his brother after so long apart.

"The two of us together again! There's nothing we can't do!" He almost whooped with the sheer mad happiness of surviving everything and doing what had truly been important. Tarrlok might not be able to bloodbend anymore, but it wasn't as if his brother needed his 'bending. His tenure on the council showed that! Tarrlok had the same natural charisma he did, and the same will to use it ( ... )

Oh man...These were pretty excellent. The amount of feeling I had while reading these, imaging this was how they were - the contrast between Tarrlok and Noatok - was just amazing. Thank you!

General Iroh. Did he have any significant contact with Azula?

The day after Grandfather steps down as Firelord, Iroh sets foot on Ember Island. He brings the latest doujinshi from Ba Sing Se, even though he doesn't know why the artists or Great-Aunt Azula are so interested in the previous Minister of Culture. In town, he picks up a bouquet of fire lilies ( ... )

[ooookay my parents are staring at me since I let out a loud squeel of delight]

I love the little details like Azula still being a yaoi fan in her old age, and that Iroh actually knows how to use blue fire. Er. Will be more coherent when the parental units stop staring....
