At least I assume that's Loki. Given his battle cry.

I thought Marvel said not long ago they weren't going to be doing any more big, company-wide cross-over events. Glad to see that kept. I really hate them because they do a great job of disrupting the storylines in other comics and, on top of that, usually some character gets killed off only because "it shows how major of an event this is!"

And I'm not sure a lot of stories will rival Simonson's. Simonson created Beta Ray Bill. I think that pretty well ends the contest right there.

They've got "Fear Itself" going on right now, and it is making it very difficult for me to figure out what's going on in Thor because apparently I am supposed to be reading both The Mighty Thor and Fear Itself. Whhhhhhhhy you do this, Marvel?

"I thought Marvel said not long ago they weren't going to be doing any more big, company-wide cross-over events."

And then they and DC noticed that big, company-wide crossover events make more $$$$$s. (Quesada's actually on record of saying that IIRC, "people say they don't want them but they keep selling anyway")

But when Abnett and Lanning are having the dread Cancerverse where the Many-Angled Ones have ensured death has been destroyed, rebooting futures trying to stop the past from altering them, a team of the strongest entities in the MU facing the return of the Dark Wraiths, and doing all this with Rocket Racoon the heavily-armed racoon, Cosmo the psychic cosmonaut dog, and His Royal Highness Groot the talking tree ("I AM GROOT!") as serious badasses, the Earth-set crossovers look a bit feeble.

Cosmo was able to psi-blast THANOS. Cosmo is awesome.
