Wait was he hallucinating that whole time? And so am I but I doubt she'd take him back after finding out what he did to Zuko and Azula. And I felt bad for Ozai~

No, he wasn't. I just take exception to referring to Ozai and Ursa's relationship as abusive. There is no evidence he was abusive towards his wife nor is there evidence that she was abusive towards him.

Why am I so happy that Ursa started it? I have no idea but the fact that she can dish out punishment is something that I've come to enjoy in Ursa interpretations. Poor Ozai, you really make me feel for the guy though it gives me warm fuzzies that he lets Iroh in the cell with him. Ursa really does know how to hurt him doesn't she? Bake him some pastries Tian!

There was really no way I could have had Ozai start with the violence in this story. Too many bad connotations and too much of fandom already thinks he's a wife-beater.

I love making people feel bad for Ozai. <3

Ozai hurts a lot in this, but I think Ursa is ultimately in the right. I also don't think Ozai will ever get why she is. *ruffles him*
