Fire exploded in and around him, blazing through his blood and breath, so bright it was blinding. He burned and burned and burned and was not consumed.
The fire went out, but he still felt like he was in the heart of an inferno.
In front of him, the Senshi of Water stood with her arm up to shield her face, eyes slitted and turned away. The Senshi of Earth merely grinned.
The Senshi of Water (whose name, she had informed him, was none of his damn business) lowered her arm slowly. "So, you were right. The Senshi of Fire is Fire Nation."
"'Course I was." The Senshi of Earth snorted. "Nice legs."
Jeong Jeong blinked and frowned - the Senshi of Earth was so strange. The Senshi of Water was giving him an almost pitying look.
"All right," he started to say. He never got to 'what is going on?'; his voice sounded wrong. He reached up to touch his throat, and his arm brushed against-

"The hell I am!" Jeong Jeong yelled, tugging at the locket on the bow and trying to figure out how to remove the bedamned enchantment
