Demon'Verse, Round Two
Now that I've got a better idea of the history, I can take more free-ranging prompts. Plus I've got some surprises tucked away that I want a chance to spring on people.

He rolled silently to his feet and reached for his swords. He'd never felt anything this powerful - even Aang hadn't felt like this. Though, a few times, in the far distance, he felt gouts of celestial power rising up in a flare, only to snuff moments later.
This, though, was steady, powerful, and vile.
He listened to instincts he could not name, slipping silent and soft as he sought the demon.
