But it's just a mask, and Ty Lee can see beneath it. He hasn't been the same since Katara left, and that's not a good thing for an Avatar.
For the first time in years, when she picks out her paint in the evening, she doesn't put on the Kyoshi warpaint. Instead she paints her lips oxblood red and lines her eyes with kohl. She shimmers gold over her eyelids and across her breasts.
She does her hair in a loose braid, draws on the sweet little green dress she'd been saving for Haru.
She looks herself in the mirror, licks her lips. If this doesn't work...
Well, she knows how to block chi, and there are no protections between lovers in bed.
