The young prince curled up against Jee's side, eyes vague and fingers burning into his armor. His uncle had managed to coax him away a few times earlier in the evening, but that was before Yaozu brought out the Earth Kingdom rotgut.
So now Zuko had snuggled up to Jee's side, scorching the leather of his armor as the prince dug his fingers in.
Jee wasn't entirely sure the prince could walk right now, and he knew the kid shouldn't be firebending. Not that you could stop drunk firebenders from firebending.
"Come on," he said quietly, wrapping an arm around Zuko. "If I have to carry you, I'm just going to throw you over my shoulder. So you'd better be able to walk."
The prince giggled. "You'd enjoy it."
Jee rolled his eyes. It was going to be a long night.
