Some of them are links to previously reposted stuff, most are stuff I just never bothered to dig out of the comments.

Also, god, Suzuki and I talk about eating turtleducks a lot.

Iroh & Ozai: Brrrrrr. That's really all I can say to that. Damn, boys. Just damn.

Mai/Song: ASDFGHJKLSQUEE. THE HAIR. THE NEEDLES. THE ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. They both know exactly how to use the sharps, and it is wonderful. ♥

Aleratar: Iroh vs. Ozai: I really love how the furies are reflected in their fighting styles. And really, wouldn't it be expected for a man with a phoenix fire fury to have an air fury as well? <3 And how else for a hedonist like Iroh to end the battle, even if it was pre-hedonist?

Aleratar: Iroh/Song: I still love this one. :D The furycrafting, the realisations on both their parts, Zuko's complete and total obliviousness to what's going on... Hot. Just hot. <3

Feral Airbenders: You know I love these guys in any form. Especially the boiling tension between Jae Hwa and the Freedom Fighters, and Nima being the voice of reason. So to speak.

Zuko and Ozai: BREATHSTEALING. Oh, Zuko. You may never find out where Mommy is if you continue on this way.

Evil!Zuko: Evil Zuko is hot in ( ... )

God, the Iroh and Ozai matched with the Zuko and Ozai not only spell incestuous issues but... HOLY SHIT, OZAI. You horrible, petty, selfish man.

Which part of that is inspiring this now?

Oh, I knew he was selfish and petty but...

"Did you touch him?"

[...]

"I never did such a thing," Iroh said at last, voice heavy.

It was a relief, an unbearable relief, to banish [Ozai's] fears and nightmares so simply.

It might just be me and reading it TOTALLY wrong, but it struck me that Ozai was jealous. If he was concerned like a proper father, there would have been no words, only violence. It felt like Ozai went as a scorned lover.

So I have THIS ringing in my head when I read the breath stealing kiss between Ozai and Zuko.

... Yeah, um, I apparently fail massively at portraying Ozai as a concerned father. *had Suzuki comment on that VERY SAME THING when I wrote this originally*

The breath-stealing kiss was originally intended as Zuko/Ozai. ;-) I just didn't think it was obvious enough to rate warning for, since the intention is Zuko controlling Ozai's breath and his (lack-of) fire.

Oh, Zuko. You know you're better at being evil. And it is so much easier once you're not a teenager anymore. Now I want to see him go wreak havoc on the countryside. :D (Jet in tow?) It's nice to see him taking control of his destiny, even if it is going to end up in mayhem. :D
