Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. They're a really fun pairing to write, because there's a lot of room for a long history between them with a lot of good times, bad times, and times when they have to work things out between each other.

You can get a definite sense of selfless friendship/love/devotion there, that he cares more about his friend's/lover's mental state than his own life.

Piandao, in the show, came across to me like he would be very much more worried about what kind of damage Jeong Jeong's issues could do to himself than he would be over the damage Jeong Jeong could do to him.

I think, now, the idea of having sex with a Master Firebender should be TERRIFYING to non-FN types, REALLY. I love seeing the vicious Jeong Jeong that kinda LURKS under the surface of the Deserter and flares up when young Avatars piss him off. God, how you described the bearing of TEETH.

I love the prep time between the two, they're adults, they know what to do and how to do it. Well, Piandao, at the least.

That seems to have been a really good line. *pleased*

It should be terrifying to them. Firefolk are all passionate so SURELY they explode with fire during sex, y/y? Except, I think the GOOD firebenders extinguish instead. Because burning your lover is kind of de classe. (You may note, Jeong Jeong gave Piandao two deliberate burns and spilled sparks on him several times, but never burned him accidentally.) I ADORE writing ragebender!Jeong Jeong. There's so much anger there, and so much potential for him doing Very Bad Things.

I am pretty sure Jeong Jeong knows what to do and how to do it, he was just too distracted by finally cutting loose all of his pent-up desire.
