It was high summer on Alpha Starscream III and the thermals over the rolling grassy plains lifted Starscream high without wasting his fuel. Up here, he surveyed the land under his dominion.

Rolling grassy plains criss-crossed with little black roads. To the east, a long sullen line of dark trees that gradually curved south and spread out into a vast filthy swamp. If Starscream had planned to stay on this, the first world of his empire, for longer, he would have forced Hook to drain the unsightly mess.

But no. This was the creation-factory of his new empire, but like all creations, his empire would never reach its full potential unless it left behind its making-place. Alpha Starscream III would be left so he could find his true destiny, expand his empire to rule the stars and planets
