There is a part of me that thinks doing a smutty Ozai/Ursa songfic to Harvest Fires would be all kinds of awesome.

Then there is another part of me who thinks I'm insane.

Hmm. While I'm not ruling out that you are insane, I don't think that this has much to do with it. I guess they're not exactly known for their passion, but they did have two kids, and they were young once. So why not just enjoy it whilst they could, yeah?

I actually do think they were known for their passion. In fact, I think the passion is the main thing that kept their marriage working as long as it did. (Word of God is that it was an arranged marriage.)

My personal characterization theories is that Ozai loves Ursa very, very much, but she's not that hugely into him. She loves the kids, though, and the sex with Ozai is great.

I mostly question my wanting to do it as a songfic. Even "Harvest Fires" is totally perfect and appropriate.
