Clones are amazing! I love them, I love KT's writing, and this year, we get not one but TWO books by her about clones! This book in May, and book 5 of Republic Commandos in November!

Eeeeeeeeeee!!!

Karen Traviss is Made of Awesome. Seriously. Her stuff roxxors. (I have also heard good things about Shatterpoint if you like Mace Windu.)

I must second her being made of awesome -- I was not a SW EU fan until I started reading her stuff. Her Order 66 book is the only tie-in novel I have ever bought brand-new in hardcover. Also, her novelization of the Clone Wars movie is better than the movie by several orders of magnitude.

I know two things about this book: 1) it will be awesome and 2) it will make me cry.

But that's ok, 'cause I'll have four months to recover before Imperial Commandos comes out and breaks me.

Because it's a Karen TRaviss book and nearly every single book of her's I've read has made me cry. Or at least wibble. (This is not a complaint; it's not exactly *hard* to make me cry about something, but considering KT made me cry *repeatedly* even after I'd already *read* the sad bit and knew it was coming...that's some skills there ( ... )
