Wow! I love how detailed and well written this is. I never really gave much thought to what the Autobot femmes went through while the others were asleep on Earth. What really brought it home to me their desperation was feeding off of not only their own team mate but the long deactivated body of a guardian. It's one thing to cannibalize off of fresh remains but it's another to dig up a long dead body. Poor girls :(

...I need to re-watch the Search for Alpha Trion.

*grins at inspiring people to rewatch "The Search for Alpha Trion"*

*hugs the Autobot females and promises them that it will get better if they just survive*

Thank you for the kind comments!

If we make for the ruins of Baklava Pax, we're going to lose a few of the girls. They'll starve!"

The good news is, those who make it there can dine on honey pastry!

her soft voice hid a mind as ruthless as any Decepticon's.

Hnh. Yeah. I do not buy this, and your own fic contradicts this line. There are miles of difference between a leader who's willing to sacrifice a few for the greater good, and a leader who's willing to sacrifice all for themselves. In fact, Elita giving up Cascade's energy pack is a direct contradiction to this line.

Chromia pulled the wire out and wrapped it around her arm once more, settling it precisely into the grooves of her armor.

I'm pretty confused about what's happening here. If she's wrapping it around her own arm, it's not "once more," and if she's wrapping it around Windchime's... uhm, wasn't it originally in Windchime's leg?

You are the Autobot cause, Elita. You need to survive.I'm always inclined to think, "If you're fighting for a cause that's so fragile it falls apart with the loss of any one ( ... )

You make a good point there. I'll remember that for the future.

She stores it wrapped around her arm. So she unwrapped it, cut Windchime's wires, then rewrapped it around her arm.
