Five *is* a wonderful contrast to our Nine and Ten - yet still the same man - it's fun to get my brain around that. This story is gorgeous, very sexy and with a sadness to it.

And, of course, Jack is like Gallifrey; and Five doesn't know what's going to become of Gallifrey, so Jack feels just right.

The rain's perfect, too.

I. I have strong, (usually) elemental associations: Five really IS water and glass and Nine is earth and fire, and Ten is fire and air and - I'm just peculiar that way, so it's nice to hear it's working for someone else *G*.
