I did a bit of arm-waving and squeeing at the end of the episode. Really good alien - just enough to spook, not enough to be cheesy FX. Awesome episode. I'm loving this!

That whole scene made the episode for me. RTD gets *it*. It's not about spaceships and funny aliens, it's about people talking. If they don't sell your drama then everything else falls apart.

Okay - this was one man and a tank of mist but... it worked. Here's hoping the rest is as good as this!
