Beautiful World 2012.01.08 Nagoya Dome

Warning: Contains unpopular opinions. Just because I criticize them doesn't mean I don't love them. In fact, I love them more because of their flaws. But really, it's nothing bad.

Yay, thank you for this prompt report. I know you're still catching up on your sleep so thanks a lot for spending time to write about the con. =)

"if I truly love them, it doesn't matter where I sit", I totally agree with this! Just being inside the dome seeing their tiny figures on the stage and the monitors, hearing their voices live, is more than enough to feel the "Arashi atmosphere".

Ohno's hip thrusts surely are the sexiest! I like to watch his Top Secret perf. His voice indeed tends to falter sometimes. I remember him singing harshly during their Furosato perf in the charity event. But we have heard the best of his singing voice so we know he has the talent.

Aiba's locked up from his room AGAIN?!? They must have stayed on the same hotel as last year. He thinks he's in their 実家.

I can't wait for the DVD!

My pleasure. My goal was to finish it before the last con of the tour, while my memories of the con are still fresh.

I've seen Ohno falter on TV performances, but it was my first time hearing it live so I was a little surprised. Not that I mind, it just shows he's human. Just wish JE doesn't clean up their con DVD's so much - they sound too good. Sometimes it's the imperfections that make it special.

Yup, not surprised since it's Aiba.

Wow, I can't imagine why anyone would get mad about this kind of report, but then, I guess I'm not that kind of person. When I hear that Sho was cheesy or that Ohno's voice was off or that they lip-synced a danced number, I tend to go 'awww' or 'well, that's practical.' I am also not thirteen.

Thanks for sharing the report despite the wariness. I have yet to see anyone give any details about Ohno's solo, except that it's hot, so I can only infer that it reduces everyone to speechlessness. Yay! <3 I can't wait for the DVD, and I think it's completely awesome that you were able to see them live!

I think most fans are sane, but there are a few who are more sensitive to criticisms, so I put the warning on top. I may not like the fact they lip sync, but I accept it.

Sorry I couldn't give any more details about Ohno's solo. His dance moves were hot, very smooth and fluid, as expected of him. Don't know how else to describe it.

I'm so glad you got to see them, and that everything worked out. :D It sounds like the concert is different from when they were doing the late summer ones. It's all so odd, these days, how spread out the concerts are--the set list can change so drastically with the new songs that come out during the interim that it's almost like an entirely different tour or something ( ... )

I was surprised at how spread out the concerts were this tour. If they had concerts in Oct / Nov I wouldn't have had such a dilemma. I noticed the set list was quite different from Kokuritsu's, but Kokuritsu's always seem to be different and special.

Every chance is a gift, even if the seats are at the back of the dome. I get so depressed after a concert is over (though I've gotten used to it over the years, now I just accept it and move on), and it leaves me thinking when or if I'll see them again.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that about Sho's solo. The song itself is cute, just a little cheesy, and I don't mind it at all. But the costume and choreo made it so much cheesier. I thought Aiba's suited him too, but I prefer Magical Song (though I'm to embarrassed to listen to that song in public). I was glad Ohno did some serious dancing for his solo too. I love the dances he do for his slow solos, but the dance for Hung up on is so much hotter.

How come most of the Canadian fans I came across are all from Toronto T_T

Thanks for sharing your experience :D It was really fun reading it and it makes me want to go to their concert even more now XD

Ohno really should have done more dance solos when he was young... who knows if he will do more in the future T_T He needs to train like Higashiyama LOL But I guess he'd rather spend the time fishing

I've met some fans from Montreal, but I guess there are more of us in Toronto?

My pleasure. Hope you get to see their concert someday.

I'm sure Ohno still has it, though I agree he's too into fishing to train like Higashiyama.
