WOW. You should save this in your memory (the little heart icon above the entry). I hope all that was worth the trip. :P

I didn't go through any of that stuff when I went to Pittsburgh in Feb hehe. I just had to walk through the metal detector. But I wasn't flying out of the country, and there's nothing in Pittsburgh anyway.

Well, I look forward to hearing about all your trips on Sunday!

Very useful information. I shall keep it filed away in my mental notes. :o)

Sounds like you had a lot of fun.

Actually, depending on your coverage on your car insurance, you might not need to get the supplemental insurance offered by rental car companies. For instance, if I went out and rented a car, I would be covered just like if it were like a regular car.

Of course this is not true for all policies, but you can call your insurance company and ask before you rent a car next time. The difference is if you choose to purchase the extra insurance offered by the rental car company, if you crash it, the rental car company won't charge you for it, whereas if you didn't have insurance, your insurance company would pay the rental car company for it.

Good tip. Of course since I don't have a car, I don't have car insurance. Hence the rental insurance is kind of important. :)
