Running - I must be some sorta crazy!

So, I ran a 5K today.  This in and of itself isn't that big of a deal, since we have to run them at least once a month on base.  But, it's one I did on my own, without having been 'forced' to by the AF.  So I guess that's a good thing.  :)  The race was tough mostly because it involved going over the US192 bridge, which goes over the Indian River

I loathe running too, but started doing it a couple of years ago for some reason. I haven't in awhile, but "Run a 10K" is on my list, so I'll have to start back up sometime. I honestly don't know why I do it either, but it's definitely a feeling of accomplishment! I remember the first time I ran five miles without stopping - I felt like Superwoman. :)
