Jack woke in the dark, with Bobby in front of him and Tommy behind. Someone had kicked the blankets off, but between the twins it was anything but cold. In fact, it was fucking hot, and both Jack's skin and the sheets were damp with sweat.

When he tried to move, Bobby mumbled in protest and Tommy's arm tightened around Jack's waist. Jack groaned and nudged his elbow back into Tommy, gently but with some intent, and looked over his shoulder. "You're suffocating me."

Tommy grunted sleepily, but loosened his grip on Jack. Jack took advantage of the extra space to turn onto his back and push the sheet down to his hips. Skin actually exposed to air, a couple of breaths that carried the scent of sex instead of skin and body-heat, and he drifted off again.

Minutes later, and in his sleep, he rolled over onto his side, threw his arm over Tommy's waist and pressed his forehead into Tommy's shoulder. Minutes after that, Bobby rolled over, wrapped an arm around Jack's waist and things (like Jack) started to heat up again.

When Jack woke next, overheated again, he elbowed Bobby and made a mental note to stop sleeping in the middle.

When Bobby kissed the back of his shoulder, instead of letting Jack go, and Tommy wrapped a hand around Jack's wrist, Jack made a mental amendment to his mental note.

Actually, he struck it out, completely.

It was hot as hell, he couldn't breathe, sleeping was going to be uncomfortable as shit, but he felt wanted, and he felt safe. That was worth a little broken sleep and discomfort. It was worth a hell of a lot more than that. It was worth everything.

He could always get even in the morning.
