Status update: A little worryingly numb at times. I don't think I'm shutting down, I'm still able to enjoy happy things, but... well, I watched some tv yesterday and the first episode of a series dealt with the murder of this little boy and the parents feeling bereft and grieving after him and... On the whole, I think I'm getting better again, it was hard being knocked for such a loop when I'd been really stable for a long time, and it is a struggle, but I have my good moments along with the bad. And thank you, that means a lot. ♥ (I've had my response to you half-composed for, like, ages but I am total balls at responding. I don't know if you've picked up on that about me. I've hidden it well. [serious face goes here, really])

Apropos of nothing, I am watching The Ruins on FX right now, and I am really looking forward to watching these young people get devoured by flesh-eating vines.

Well, I could always regale you with tails of my adventures in comics fandom (not that I've been reading, but I've got plans to!) and what AMAZING and AWESOME and SENSIBLE decisions Marvel and DC have been making! Like with Roy! They've been awesome to Roy.

I think the worst part about that statement is that it kind of does make me want to watch it.
