I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE KNOW CERTAIN THINGS ARE MADE FOR MEEEEE because wow is this ever. Seriously, I am going to want so many makeouts with Jun and his older female actress!

I AM REALLY EXCITED!! Not that I haven't enjoyed Jun trying to spread his wings a bit with his dramas in the last few years, but I've felt like there hasn't been a drama where I can just fangirl his role in. I'm hoping this one will be like that!

NINO'S IDOL? OH MAN THIS JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER. There had better be so much fic where Nino attaches himself to Jun and demands to know what she's like and he's going to come watch their performances just so he can meet ~*her*~ and annoy the crap out of Jun in the meantime.

Hm, I can see that, yeah. Like, I'm not sure I'd want to know Arashi personally, either, because the distance between fan and idol leaves a lot of comfort room.

But if I knew someone who was going to interact with them? OMG TELL ME EVERYTHINGGGGG, WHAT DO THEY EAT AND WHO'S A MORNING PERSON AND WHO ISN'T AND DID YOU LOCK THEM IN A ROOM TOGETHER AND AND AND--!!, that sort of thing.

NINO CAMEO. I AM GOING TO PINE FOR THAT NOW, even though I should know better than to get my hopes up. XD

I am falling over myself in excitement for this. Smile was soul-crushing and Bambino had no romance. I need romantic jerk Matsujun!

I could not finish more than two episodes of Bambino~! because it hit my embarrassment squick harder than just about anything else in the last few years! Smile was similar, it was really hard to watch, no matter how absolutely adorable he was with Aragaki Yui! (I do want to finish it someday. Just... maybe fast forward through the crying somewhat.)

So, it feels like it's been forever since we had a Jun drama that we can just purely fangirl over and I've missed that. (Even if I appreciate Jun trying new things and not just sticking to the same formula over and over. Even if I LIKE that formula, dammit.)

Oh Bambino was one of those I watched in fast forward so I was reading subtitles just to know what happened. They just treated Jun like crap for the entire run of episodes and I was just annoyed. And then Smile, my god, it was like a punch to the stomach every few minutes hahaha. But I think Jun was good in it, and I admired him for tackling something that was out of most viewers' comfort zones (and the ratings reflected that, haha)

I just want to fall in love with Jun again. It's not hard to do if I just put on Hanadan again.

I'm pretty much circling this entire comment in red and going "YES, I AGREE WITH ALL OF THIS". I admire Jun for tackling something like Smile and I think he did really well with it! (Of what I saw, that is.) And I'm glad he's pushing himself with things like The Last Princess, too! Because that was REALLY outside his usual image and that's a good thing for his long-term career as an actor!

B-but. It's been so long since he's done the fangirlable thing that I've been a little despairing in the last year or so. SO I HAVE REALLY HIGH HOPES FOR THIS DRAMA. ;__;♥

Wow, I'm so behind on dramas, I didn't even recognize the name! (My flist seems to have taken a firm turn for the kdramas, rather than the jdramas lately.)

I'm worried that it won't live up to expectations, as I always am whenever Arashi does anything new, but! It sounds like exactly the kind of drama I've wanted to see from Jun again and, well, I'm just hoping for an awesome OTP and makeouts. (And good ratings.) *__*♥

I've probably just had my head stuck too far into anime this season, because it's one of those MAYBE ONCE A YEAR IF YOU'RE LUCKY seasons where everything is just so freaking good that I can't stop picking up series or obsessing over how much fun they all are. *__*

I'll... I'll get back to dramas eventually! Really! XD
