So, after Arashi was on Haneru no Tobira, Wolfie mentioned that Inocchi and Nagano had been on the show previously and I was so enamored with the show that I had to go watch it. And it is pretty great and I was LOL'ing at several points

It's really amazing how much fandom gets out and I still have those moments of TOTAL LOVE for everyone because of how much they do. *__*

....OH MAN. AIBA AND SAND BODY PARTS. BOOBS IF THEY WERE LUCKY. He'd start working on the other sand body parts until Jun smacked him on the head and reminded him that THEY WERE FILMING FOR A PV AND JUST-- *SIGH* IF YOU MUST, JUST STICK TO THE SAND BOOBS, OKAY? and, like, someone will get buried about three feet from the rising tide and they'll scream GET ME OUT OF HERE YOU FUCKERS while the rest of his bandmates just laugh and laugh.

I actually kind of like the balance that Arashi fandom has, in that we might not get as much fic as the other fandoms, but I think we get more videos and translations? Between all the amazing subs that come out and the handful of fantastic authors we have--and the way there's this loose group of people who are tremendously funny and just love all the pairings in Arashi and how much do I love you fandom for not having fights over whose OTP is better? SO MUCH, FANDOM--it's a really great place to be.

Aiba would totally give Nino a giant rack and laugh the entire time. Ohno would help! And when Nino pitched a fit that he couldn't dig himself back out, they'd mollify him with HEY LET'S GO PUSH SHO INTO THE SURF HE'LL NEVER SEE US COMING and then Nino can steal Jun's swimtrunks and all will be right in his world again.

That is a factor as well and I'm not really deeply into enough of the other fandoms to know how much of their interviews and tv appearances get subbed, versus how much more volume Arashi puts out all the time. One thing that does strike me as interesting is... well, I'm asking in this in all honest, do any of the other groups get as much exposure as Arashi does?

Even more than I love people who love everything, I love people who have OTPs but are so laid-back and full of love for all the pairings that they'll ship very nearly anything or at least have fun with it. It's actually been sort of remarkable how well things have been going lately, I kind of feared the fandom would devolve into ship fighting. D:

Nino is also seriously getting a whole lot of sand dumped down his shorts for stealing Jun's swim trunks. XD
