Professor Layton is so much fun! Unfortunately I spoiled the ending for myself, so I stopped playing X:

There's stuff to be spoiled in the game? I've been avoiding looking at reviews or fan reactions just in case and I sort of got the impression that something was going on with it, certainly, but it's good to have a heads up that I should avoid spoilers more diligently.

It's such a charming little game! I love walking around and looking for puzzles and just looking over the adorable little town. ♥

Just don't check Wikipedia - it did me in D:

But yes, the animation is so quaint! I haven't gone back to playing ever since I was spoiled, though X:

I was looking at Wikipedia earlier! But I was only looking up basic info and release dates for the sequel games (as;dlfkajslkjsa HOW LONG MUST WE WAIT??) and LOL'ing because Horikita Maki voiced Luke in the games and Oguri Shun voiced Older Luke in the third game, which was amusing.

But I will AVOID AVOID AVOID from now on! :O!

I'm sorry about you getting spoiled. D: Especially because it is really charming and quaint and you don't see enough games like that out there.

kasdgaljhsdgflajshl Layton and Chocobo!! I finished and LOVED both games, you're totally gonna lose HOURS on them. XDDDD
btw I failed to ask you first, sorry. ^_^;; Is shota allowed in kakairu? It has never been an issue until now, I took my stance and I hope you agree with me. ^_^;;

I don't think you should worry about informing me first before you make moderator decisions, you've been in charge of the community for quite awhile now and you're the one really putting in all the time and patience and work here. I will stand by your decisions 100%. And I agree with what you've said--shota's never been my thing most times, but I don't want to judge other people on what's harmless fun, so long as it stays harmless fun. (And with an anime/manga series, that's generally pretty easy to do.) So, allowing shota, but make sure to put warnings on it is where I'd have stood, too.

*curious* About how long are each of the games? I figure I'm about 1/3rd of the way through Layton and I've only spent about four or five hours on it, so I can't imagine that it's very long. Chocobo Tales I have no idea about--I'm only an hour in and I'm currently sitting in front of the beheamoth and trying to figure out what it wants from me, so not very far in, I'd image. XD

You thought you'd like to know if any major issues broke out in your comm, but I'm glad you agree with what I said too! :DDD

Layton takes less time, esp. if you've probably heard of most of the riddles before already like me. :P But if you want to complete and unlock everything, it will take a while. Plus if you have wifi, you can actually download extra games!! <333 ( ... )

And I really, really appreciate that you kept that in mind, thank you! Though, at this point, I think you've been running things so well that I don't think you need to run stuff by me anymore--if there are any major policy changes, feel free to shoot me a message, but if you forget to inform me of stuff, I'm not going to be upset or anything. I consider the community pretty much yours now anyway. ♥

Layton I can already tell that I'm going to want to unlock pretty much everything in the game (I've finished the second chapter, so it's nighttime now and I think I only missed two puzzles so far) because I-- I just have to. XD

Chocobo Tales I'll probably be less prone to completing, just because FF games have broken me of that already. I don't need to collect every weapon ever, so I don't need to collect every card ever. ...I hope. orz Now I just have to get the hang of what it is the cards do. XD ( ... )

I totally laughed at your Chocobo Tales experience, because it very strongly reminded me of something a Russian-German author once wrote about Russian internet games for children. I'm not sure whether he was exaggerating or not, but apparently there is/was a game on the internet for young children called "the maternity ward is on fire", where the goal was to, as a nurse, catch babies falling from windows of a burning house. And if you didn't catch one, it would make "splotch" and a red puddle would appear on the floor. XD
So much for children's games... XD

And that Shukudai-kun was SO MUCH LOVE. *_____*
Seriously, sometimes I think Sho HAS to be doing that on purpose, he's an intelligent guy, he simply can't be that idiotic! ...And then he dorks out AT THE OLYMPICS, throwing his dignity away to fanboy instead... and then I remember that there is a saying that the most intellectually inclined men are also the most stupid ones in everything else ( ... )

Th...that's... w-well. I mean, I've seen games like that on the internet of course, but they're aimed at adults, I've not seen stuff like that for kids. (And retelling the Chocobo Tales thing probably doesn't really convey why I reacted so strongly to it--it's partly just being caught up in this uber-adorable, cutesy little game and then getting that line and wondering if this was doing to go dark after all ( ... )

I totally did NOT think Sho/Ohno when Cha and Shu started licking each other

When Aiba was saying 'you're kissing, aren't you' to them all I could think was 'I bet you see that all the time from your bandmates'.

Just like Sho and Ohno! You just know they would be all over each other like that--cute and a little snuggly and smiley about it. Nino, he's probably a biter. YOU ARE SO CRAZY.

You know what I noticed about Kagami protecting the Worm (aka Tsurugi-but-Tendou-doesn't-know-it-yet)? The fact that Tendou doesn't push the issue. And maybe it does feed into his trip to CrazyTown but at the time, watching it the first time I mean, I thought 'huh...he trusts Kagami to deal with stuff'. And we've seen Kagami do it--think 'well, that person has their reasons' and let it go. Maybe he keeps an eye on things (talking to Jiiya about Tsurugi) but he kinda trusts the people around him. And I like to think that this was Tendou doing the same thing--trusting Kagami to deal with whatever his problem was.

Either that or they had a bitchy fight about it and Kagami had to sleep on the metaphorical couch. Tendou can be pissy like that.

Arashi: Aiba feeding Ohno off of his own chopsticks: Arashi does that a lot. There is clearly enough cutlery for everybody and they still share. In episode 47 (with Macha Macha) there's cake, right? And at one point there is very clear shot that shows a piece of cake for everybody, right ( ... )

Ohno is always so cute when he looks at his bandmates like he loves them a whole bunch. Of course, I think this of all of them...

And of course Ohno is trying to establish a mental link with Sho so he can upload porn scenarios into Sho's brain--Sho is sucking on something and it's food; two great tastes that taste great together, damn it!
