I know, it's been almost a month since I talked about Arashi at all, since NCIS and Final Fantasy IV and REBORN! caught my attention for so long. But I've missed them a great deal and I've been watching in bits and pieces now and then. What really got me to post today, however, was those new commercials (if you've seen them, you'll know why) and ( Read more... )

I watched the two AU commercials first. The first one was totally awesome - Ohno! Flower! Cuuuute. The second one totally cracked me up. Aiba would rather watch a baboon?! Silly.

Aiba in Mezameshi was totally hilarious... slowly backing away from the crocodile, though he handed over the phone to someone before going himself.

It is kind of scary because I just read:

In the wild, alligators tend to run away. While not exactly wallflowers, they certainly prefer their own company. Some species of crocodiles, on the other hand, have legendary tempers. The Salt Water Crocodile and the Nile Crocodile have been known to eat people.

'Course that one was still a really young one. *lmao* The way Aiba was eying it though...

*snicker* Ohno in that costume... It scared me and made me laugh at the same time.

"And I think to myself... what a wonderful world~"

*cough*

They're... I keep thinking. If I could make all of the people in the fandom sit down and watch these episodes, if they would actually absorb what we see in these episodes, the ( ... )

I normally don't get this excited over their commercials, but these ones are REALLY GOOD. Actually, all of their commercials lately have been really good and super cute and/or funny. But these ones were just gorgeous and I can't tell you how many times I've watched them. (Arashi lounging around in a beautiful garden? Aiba/Jun in a snowy field of sakura petals? YES PLZ.)

I'm actually not sure if it's a crocodile or an alligator, but... a;dlfkjas;lkj every time I read "they have legendary tempers" or "prefer their own company", I just start laughing all over again. No wonder Aiba backed away slowly, but wasn't nearly as scared shitless as I would have been. Clearly, he's used to such creatures. ^_~

I will totally watch them. Right now I'm watching Shukudai-kun and am loving it.*beams* Shukudai-kun is really good for something fun and positive and just laughing at/with them and slowly getting to know them. When you're a bit more familiar with them, then I'd suggest the MMA boating episodes then. (Not that order really ( ... )

Hehe, I like things that just make you so excited or happy. ^_^

Totally! I am definitely laughing and having fun watching it. I do feel as if I am learning about them, which is awesome. :)

I think I'm close to being able to pick them out (at least Ohno, Nino and Jun for sure). =P

O-OMG BECKY WHAT IS THIS. XDD

It is like Christmas for me.
Me too, my dear, me too. I also have a post about this. In large screencaps sjfhdghfdjghd I knew I could count on you SOMEONE NEEDS TO WRITE THEM SWIMMING IN THE PETALS. THE AU KDDI TEAM LOVES US~♥

Hey and I missed youuuu. I'd read this really, if I weren't in programming class. Then again I have nothing better do lol :D :D

Seriously. IT IS LIKE CHRISTMAS. I'm not sure if it's just because I've been making a point to comment on things more often or if there really has been a lot of Aiba/Jun stuff lately, but either way... IT IS LIKE CHRISTMAS. \o/

asd;flkasj if I could figure out a way for Jun to pounce on Aiba in front of a film crew so that they could be buried in a huge pile of sakura petals, I WOULD.

And I missed you, too! I missed Arashi, too! I've been watching some D no Arashi here and there, but it's not the same as actively fangirling them. I'm mostly caught up on my other stuff, though, so here's hoping I'll have more time. ♥ (W-well, I might feel badly if you missed something important in classes....)

There's been a lot!! XD (I think it's fate, I'm wearing a striped purple and green shirt right now XDD) Have you seen last week's Shukudai? :P I think I posted about it, well, everyone has, how Aiba suggests Jun-tan as a nickname and Jun practically strangles him -i-in a loving way. And I firmly believe it's because Jun felt conscious of Aiba sharing their pet names to each other on national tv :D <3

buried sounds so gooood *___*

My internet is fail when it comes to direct links. Ugh I want to download all the taijiproject subs so badly, bc she is so awesome and everything. But. Can't =(
Well, once you catch up, there's going to be moreee things to have to keep track of. Apparently they're having a new tv show on primetime! O___O Oh boys. ♥ (and haha don't worry..I don't understand what the teacher is saying anyway, I work when my classmates have finished lol)

I haven't seen a raw episode of Shukudai-kun in awhile, no. :/ A lot of that is that, by the time I get through all the subbed stuff I have, there are new Shukudai-kun subs that I haven't watched yet and I'd prefer to watch something subbed if possible. But I hear about the nicknames and I'm kind of dying to watch it at some point. (And Jun is SERIOUS BUSINESS, cutesy nicknames take away from his cool. >:| And Aiba should know better, he's not getting any for a week for that. >:|)

))): Have you tried download managers like GetRight or its ilk? They'll resume from sites like Mediafire and Sendspace and Megaupload, so if it's a problem staying connected, that should help. Or does your internet just not like connecting to those sites at all?

I'm really curious about this primetime show. I know there was the rumor that it would be MMA, but TokyoGraph's description doesn't really sound like MMA, it sounds more like GRA. I'm really curious now!

I must confess to loving it when you make these sorts of in depth posts about this stuff.

Also, I agree that this should be required watching for entrance to fandom, because OMG would the number of SERIOUS TALKS go down.

ALso, why yes, yes those CMs are certainly heterosexual.

. . .if by heterosexual we mean flaming like the SUN.

Also, as soon as I saw the caps of Jun with his hands on his hips looking at Aiba, I went "OMG OMG OMG AIBAJUN. I WONDER HOW MUCH LONGER BEFORE BECKY EXPLODES WITH GLEE???"

I've missed being able to talk about them and getting to talk to others (though, it seems like fandom has been getting better and I've been vicariously enjoying so many more posts these days ♥), but this series has just filled me with so, so much love. You really get to know so much about them in these episodes, you get to see it so plainly.

And ad;lfkjasdl;kjasl;j I exploded as soon as I saw those commercials. Jun could not get any gayer (or prettier or girlier, seriously, Matsujun, you are such a girl) or the two of them any more OTP than in that commercial. Sakura petals and Jun with his pretty walk and the hands on his hips and looking at Aiba and just-- w-well, yes. I can't even be coherent about how much I love them. It's like Jun getting the okay to go ahead and paintball Nino, that is how much I am delighted with them. :D :D :D :D

Sho and Ohno are hilarious when they try to appeal to their "Arashi working together as one for a greater goal!" and get shot down when they point out, we do that already at concerts. They try to appeal through pictures of teams rowing together and looking cool and how they failed and how sad grandpa's face looked when Sho/Ohno failed. That still doesn't work. So they have ONE FINAL IDEA. They pull Aiba over and present him with a ~*secret gift*~ (of really expensive meat, no less, asdfl;kjasdl;kja how they know Aiba) and Aiba practically drools on them. He snatches it up, holds it protectively close so no one can take it away, and he's in! He's always wanted to be a rower! And asdfl;kjasdl;jkaslj;k I love him so much right then.*CRACKS UP SO HARD ( ... )

I love the Sho/Ohno team so much because they are SO DUMB AND SO AWESOME and I wish there was more of their silly, silly friendship.

I know I kind of foamed at the mouth over these episodes, but I really do love them that much, they're like every little detail you can learn after watching dozens of hours of television on the guys, except packed into this one series of episodes. It's kind of amazing how much you really see/learn in the episodes, it's all right there to pick up on.

And asd;flkajslkj yes, that's exactly it! Even though it goes against his usual character, Ohno doing leadery things is so very like him, it's even more awesome when you watch him, you see the determined look on his face, even when he's still so Ohno. It makes me love him all the more. It makes me love them all more, because you see how much this group touches them.

I want to share this love with EVERYONE, even if I have to CRAM IT DOWN THEIR THROAT. XDDDD (And I love you so, so much for making it through this asdlfkjasdlkj 7,000 word post. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

It's been a delight to watch these episodes, because they've genuinely gotten me thinking. Most of what you'll see in the episodes, I already knew/guessed at, since I've spent a lot of time with them. But I've never seen it in such concentrated form.

And I'm really glad not to be the only fan of these episodes, it's wonderful to get to talk to others about them. And yes just. A must watch. ♥__♥
