For various reasons, I 1) ended up in a major shopping mall on a Friday evening less than 2 weeks before Christmas, and 2) ended up in a Target on a Saturday afternoon less than 2 weeks before Christmas. *pants* And this is why I've switched almost entirely to Christmas shopping online. Then after it was over and The Hobbit was about to start, this guy behind me got up and said, "You enjoy your dork movie, I'm outta here" and left. Several others left at the same time. *blinks* That was a bit surprising, I must say. I mean, I would probably be willing to pay the exorbitant IMAX price to see the Star Trek preview if it was before something I didn't want to see, so I get that to a certain extent. It's the "dork movie" I don't get. I mean, seriously? Star Trek is somehow less dorky than Tolkien? Come on. :-D

A fool and his money are soon parted, I guess. XD
