Gods, he’d done this to her. He’d made her the whore he always said she was. Not because she’d been compelled to go out and frak anything with a pulse, but because he’d used her like he’d used one of his own whores. Kara toyed briefly with the idea of sending him a tab.

Poor Kara. Some days it seems like she only has two settings: destructive and self-destructive!

Here’s what you should know. Cylons aren’t copies of humans. We are Cylons through and through. Made and cultivated. No originals. Just duplicates.

And Lee gets slapped upside the head with cylon creatio ex nihilo. We all knew that was coming. Although if he's already accepted that she's herself, that she's human, I'm not sure it will have as much of an impact. Maybe prevent him from being able to change his mind the next time he gets mad at her.

Did Lee really think his sins were diminished because he committed them in the wake of her own? That about sums it up. Kara seeing Lee's flaws isn't sufficient for her to stop seeing herself as worthless, but it seems to ( ... )

destructive and self-destructive!

I know. It's just... so terrible. But then I think of those tiny moments of pilot-y happiness and I think *maybe* there's a door number three for her.

He, for example, commits treason because of his principles, but seems to act as though Kara just thought running off to Caprica would be a good laugh.

That is *so* Lee's malfunction, isn't it? NO ONE else could be as conflicted and fucking noble as him. Gods, he needs to pull his freaking head in. He ain't no boy scout, y'know?

I'm not sure if Anders is really that...twisty.

Maybe. Maybe not. I think the Cylon development has really thrown in a whole new dimension to his character that's going to shake things up. For what it's worth, I really don't think he planned on Kara finding out.

Woooh! You're posting like crazy these days!

3 guys? Jee, you're having our Kara getting some like the Rolling Stones in their prime.

That was so good. So much fraked up introspection for every character, which is, you know... entertaining.
Hell, part of him was sure he’d fumbled it deliberately just so that someone would make him pay for what an ass he’d been to Kara.

I particularly loved the conversation between Sharon and Lee.

Plus, that her bed smelled like Lee was brilliant and I liked that Sam finally started to be a little offended by Kara's behavior. I don't know why but Sam having his revenge frak with Seelix was very easy to imagine. Like I said, I don't know why. It just works.

:o)

PS: Please notice that the word frak is now a part of my common vocabulary. It's scary.

She's... *ahem* a fit little cookie, I guess. Three seemed like a pretty disgraceful number without being beyond the realms of physical safety. Plus, I like odd numbers. And one wasn't enough.

Yyyyep. Wait till you start saying it in public. Then you really geek-out.

I loved how Sharon's list of three options echoed Lee's own realizations about Kara from the last chapter.

Whatever people thought of her, she had to wonder if they ever noticed Lee book ending her madness with more covert stunts of his own. Her problem was publicity. No one ever saw Lee frak up. Maybe Lee didn’t even see when he frakked up.

Damn, that is so true! What a great insight.

And my poor Kara is wallowing in rejection and confusion! Stupid stupid Samuel T. Manwhore....

I'm so greedy: I want more already!

Stupid stupid Samuel T. Manwhore

I died three giggle-related deaths because of that. Now, I can hardly even remember his actual last name. I'm just making them up. Samuel T. McSweaty. Samuel T. Cuckold. Samuel T. NotLee.

I could go on.

Haha! Someone called him that in their review of 'Crossroads pt1' last year, and I couldn't stop giggling either. It is the first thing that comes to mind when there is Anders-infidelity in fic now.

But Samuel T. NotLee takes the cake!

PS: What vid are you working on? You mentioned one on the A/S group...and now I'm crazy curious :)

It makes you wonder if he was ever thinking about Kara, or possibly more about how she relates to him. That's a really interesting point. I mean even now, he's all about how he can make it right. How he has hurt Kara.

Thanks for reading!
