Kara wanted to hit him. It had been a while since she felt the impulse, but it felt good, so she went with it.

love this bit. ironic that only when confronted with Leoben does she really resurrect herself.

Odd that such a thing would be the catalyst. The thing that opened his eyes. A machine expressing love…

Love. He knew Kara. Knew the woman that had faltered in the face of his own love.

It was that woman he saw stumble at the mention of love. It was that woman he saw strike out.

Because someone loved her.

They could make Cylons act like humans… but flaws like that. Kara’s aversion to being loved? That was hers alone.

He watched the Cylon drop as his world shattered and the room erupted around him. She’d done that to him too. On New Caprica. But somehow, he couldn’t help feeling that Leoben got off lightly. He didn’t have to live with the rejection.

He turned to his father, fear and terror dawning, “It’s Kara,” he whispered.

I saw the words resurrect herself and went "OMG!" because yeah, that's exactly what she did. Or she at least blinked there. But at some stage between hitting him and walking out of the room I really think she stepped back into her old role... not necessarily for the better.
