Yes, I am still refusing to acknowledge the existence of the finale. And yet, somehow I seem to have managed to produce a Caprica-centric post-finale story. It had no beta, so all mistakes or poor choices are completely mine. The point of this story is catharsis; somehow turning the stuff I hated into something I could love, so probably the

Hera, omg. They stopped farming and teaching their children the alphabet... Such a tragic story. :( And then the religion and wars and the fact that Caprica put some things in motion. And Leoben being an apostol - WOW.
And the fact that Gaius always came back to her. <3
Wonderful job! ♥
Damn, I need a Caprica icon now ;)

Leoben as as apostle was kind of too perfect, right?
And yeah...I...had to write abotu them regressing because history says they did and also because...the finale was not hopeful to me. And I hope that this fic explains why without being utterly bleak? Bah, I'm not sure. The point is thank you for taking the time to let me know you liked it. I really appreciate that.

I'm still mostly speechless, but let's see. This story takes all of the reasons why that ending was depressing and makes them, well, completely heartbreaking still, but gorgeously fitting.
Random moments of love
-Gillies
-You do not speak for ten thousand years.
-Leoben as apostle
-Ardi and his sunglasses
-You talk about Apollo. It was all his fault. He loved the sun so much, he dedicated all your ships to it, and sent your father with them.
You say, “I was wondering when you'd get here.”
And that is how a cyclical story ends. *nods*
