So listen, guys, I usually like to wait a little longer before recommending a run of comics, basically just because, well, comics. Those things go off the rails in big ways sometimes. I've always had a soft spot for Catwoman, so i'll keep my eyes open.

And good Bat stuff is always nice to find.

Catwoman is both great and frequently poorly written, but when she's well-written she's just so much fun. It really is good Bat stuff. I hope you enjoy it if you get the chance to read it!

I took out a couple of months subscription to Marvel Unlimited over christmas, so i'm currently playing a fun game of 'trying to find the best Marvel stuff' right now.

Weird DC don't have a similar app. But maybe they do.

Catwoman! I've had some trouble following this arc because I didn't know what had gone down in Batman Eternal (thank you so much for the recap, btw, that is super helpful), and because political games really aren't my thing, but I appreciate what both the artist and the writer are doing for Selina. When I started buying comics it was right after The Dark Knight Rises had come out and I was really disappointed that Catwoman wasn't a comic worth following. So it's great to see Selina getting taken seriously and getting to show her scary side, and having a creative team that respects her as a character. My dad started reading it too, so it's been fun to see what he thinks of it.

Yeah, Catwoman has a sadly inconsistent history when it comes to the quality of her stories, and while I actually liked the earlier New 52 stuff more than most, it wasn't something I'd've recommended to any and all as I will this. It's hands down the best Catwoman comic I've read so far*.

*Note, I have not read as much Catwoman as I could have, so take that for what it's worth... ;)

Anyway, if I've managed to help provide some context I'm very glad! Here's hoping it stays excellent.
