View poll: What Should I Put Into VidUKon's Vidder's Choice Show?

Because I'm torn. I'm probably leaning towards Counting Stars, because Diana, but also, I actually think that I Say Fever is one of the better vids I've ever done, but it's for a fifteen year old show, buried in a 30 day vidding project and maybe this'd be a nice way to say, hey, ( Read more... )

Personally, I choose by vids that otherwise don't get much exposure, because they're older, for a small fandom or because I'm exceptionally proud of them. (That ignores the fact that I vid so slowly that my back catalog is very tiny, so choosing is not really a problem, rather, I'll run out of viable options soon - so this advice is very theoretical).

Yeah, that's exactly why I'm dithering. But the poll's pretty clear so I think I'll go with Counting Stars and maybe next time (hopefully there'll be a next time!) I'll go with Farscape. It'll still be just as old and I'll probably still be just as proud of it. ;)

I love I Say Fever. As you say, it's for a 15-year-old show, but it's also an amazing vid. As for relevance...

The Farscape Movie is officially happening

I'm just sayin'... ;)

Aww, thanks. :D I love it too.

But man, I feel so...well. I ADORE Farscape. I mean, I went on a freaking march in an attempt to get it a fifth season. It was just the best and I think I always will. Just moved house; one of the first things I did? Put out all my Farscape box sets on a shelf in the middle of the living room. (The old ones, from like 2000 when you only got four episodes per box set...)

That said, I'm genuinely unsure how I feel about this movie. The blurb makes it sound like there's an arbitrary theft of their happy ending. I don't like the idea of them getting separated from their kid and having to hide him away from years. It just seems... Well. Sad. :( And kind of contrary to the entire point of John slowly building his batdren family in the stars.
