No doubt the remastered Xbone version will transmit all of your moral choices to NSA headquarters so that they can add it to their psychological profile of every person in the world.

Not to mention the camera will automatically switch it off if it detects more people are watching the television than you have licensed controllers. That's free entertainment they're getting! We can't have that!

The gaming community is so accusatory, exclusionary, and paranoid as a whole that I think it really stunts the industry and repels the broader (and less insane) audience. Sorry for the abuse you took over your choices.

Ah, dude, it's certainly nothing you need to be apologising for, and mostly I managed to see other people get the worst of it and sort of...slunk back to safer places, like here. ;)

But yeah, it is sad and I agree with you about the current state of the gaming community. And it's just...such a waste, you know? I always feel like I'm getting robbed of a ton of interesting discussion that might flourish if the fandom wasn't so hostile. Like even stuff I hate, like, say, the Refuse ending, which I basically hate, I've found at least one really interesting analysis that wasn't all about RAH RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION!!!11!1! and it was fascinating. But those things are few and far between and that makes me a sad panda.

But yeah, anyway, not everyone is like that, is the point. :)

I would never, EVER engage on a video game board. Feels like a totally different world - one I don't belong in or want to belong in. Hopefully that will change.
